Connection Speed

Connection Speed was performed live many times throughout 2001 and 2002 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Dallas, and Austin. The piece is scored for sine waves, mixer feedback, and digital delay. The score describes strategies and options for building the music and structuring the performance. Among the palpable aspects of the piece is the modulation of sine waves with feedback which creates a variety of phantom images and beats as frequencies criss-cross one another. These are excerpts from live performances.
